August Rüggeberg & Co. Founded in 1799, PFERD began by making files for blacksmiths (“PFERD” is German for “Horse”) in Marienheide, Germany. Progressively PFERD has developed expertise in manufacturing a wide variety of quality abrasives and cutting tools.
