Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components. Our core strength is the ability to produce highly tailored components – including 3D composite structures. AEC is able to produce composite components and products which meet cost and performance specifications (weight reductions offered by composite materials, complex in- and out-of-plane loads, and high durability demands) often beyond the reach of metallic or conventional laminated composites. AEC’s new 45,000-square-foot (~4,200-square meter) Research & Technology Center, opened in March 2013, provides a fully dedicated facility for new technology development, rapid prototype development, analytical design and simulation, and product evaluation.
