Reverse projection systems include components that demand dimensional stability and/or leak-tightness.Our controlled expansion alloys are reputed worldwide for the exceptional stability of their properties. This stability is achieved by close control of alloy chemistry, involving carefully chosen raw materials, together with the use of well established processing routes. The components produced using our alloys can therefore be employed in the most demanding applications, including spacecraft and submarines ! The principal grades employed in these applications are :- Dilver P1 for glass/metal sealing in opto-electronic boxes (particularly MEMS/DMD components), hybrid boxes, etc.
