Description

Monopulse comparators are used in radar systems to determine the elevation and azimuth of a target. By dividing the face of the receiver in to four quadrants and then comparing the signal detected by all four areas, the position of the target can be determined. The receiving quadrants could be part of a single antenna or as individual horns.
